Boldspace named on the 2026 IPA Beacon list

Mike Robb

The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) has today unveiled its 2026 IPA Beacon list – and we are proud to announce that Boldspace has been named among the 20 UK agencies recognised.

Now in its second year, it was established to shine a light on the next generation of UK agencies redefining what growth, innovation and relevance look like in a rapidly changing market. The 2026 cohort celebrates a spirit of reinvention, showcasing ambitious businesses whose optimism, adaptability and entrepreneurial drive point to a vibrant future for the UK agency sector.

The list is spearheaded by Paul Mead, IPA Agency Chair and Board Member, former Director at Jellyfish and Founder of VCCP Media, and is the product of months of in-depth research, interviews with the IPA’s Editor-in-Chief Ellen Hammett, and outreach across the IPA network.

Boldspace was founded in 2020 by Co-CEOs Nick Ford-Young and Mike Robb with a clear ambition: to deliver bold communications for brands by combining theory, expertise, data and technology in one clear system. The Boldspace model is what the IPA has recognised in selecting Boldspace for the Beacon List.

2025 marked a new chapter for the business. Building on the foundations of BoldLens, our proprietary data and analytics platform, we launched Boldstream at the end of the year – a multi-LLM platform built for marketing and comms professionals, designed to help teams work in fundamentally new ways.

“Being named on the 2026 IPA Beacon list is a moment of real pride for everyone at Boldspace,” said Nick Ford-Young and Mike Robb, Co-Founders of the business. “We set out six years ago to build an agency fit for where the industry was heading, not where it had been. To be recognised by the IPA – alongside such an impressive cohort of agencies – is a hugely meaningful endorsement of that ambition, and of the team and clients who’ve helped get us here.”

Thank you to Paul Mead, Ellen Hammett and the IPA for the recognition.
