Background

KPMG approached Boldspace to provide media training for new senior partners expanding their media interview volume and range, and for junior employees embarking on media engagement for the first time, ensuring both technical capability and confidence to represent KPMG effectively.

What we did

We provided 1-2-1 and group training, covering practical techniques, key message delivery, handling tough questions, crisis basics, and interview skills. Participants practiced print and broadcast formats, including 'in person' and 'down-the-line' interviews for those doing significant broadcast work.

Impact & Results

The training was invaluable, giving participants confidence and creating healthy competition. Hesitant at first, they now eagerly build relationships and drive KPMG coverage. The programme, praised by the Head of Communications, is ongoing across various practice areas.
