Background

HMD, Europe’s largest smartphone manufacturer, appointed Boldspace to launch and promote The Better Phone Project. The aim was to raise awareness, recruit participants and show HMD’s leadership in addressing phone-related mental health, personality and learning issues – and demonstrate that HMD was leading the debate in this space, while providing a solution.

Strategy

We worked with HMD to create the narrative and name for the campaign, developing messaging and a full, integrated comms playbook and tone of voice guidelines.

Launch

We developed media strategy, angling and top lines for the launch of The Better Phone Project, targeting top tier media to create a buzz around the launch moment and reach key audiences.

Building awareness and momentum

We worked with case studies to develop media worthy stories to continue to build media engagement in the project ahead of the sessions being announced.

Hosting events

We delivered a programme of online events for The Better Phone Project, reaching a global audience to provide the opportunity for individuals to provide their insights and feedback on the solution that is being created.
