Zurich appoints Boldspace to UK corporate press office brief

Boldspace has been appointed to a new UK corporate press office brief by the leading insurance business Zurich. This will see Zurich retain Boldspace on an ongoing basis to deliver a strategic programme of corporate media engagement.

As part of the remit, The Boldspace Newsroom will work as an extension of Zurich’s in-house press office to support in the execution and delivery of high visibility media campaigns.

The Boldspace Newsroom is led by former Daily Mail Deputy News Editor and ITV News journalist, Khush Sachdave, who will work alongside Tracy Dickerson, Head of External Communications at Zurich.

The appointment follows two successful projects for Zurich earlier this year. The first focused on tackling long-term sickness in the workplace and involved a partnership with TV personality JJ Chalmers. The second explored how the rising cost of school trips is impacting family finances. Both saw substantial media cut through.

The win adds to Boldspace’s strong roster of corporate clients which include the Post Office, Nottingham Building Society and Bolt. It also follows the agency’s recent appointment of Jack Storry as Head of Corporate, who joined earlier this Summer from Grayling.

Tracy Dickerson, Head of External Communications at Zurich, said:

“When we worked with Khush and the Boldspace Newsroom team earlier this year on a project basis they impressed us with their ability to deliver media cut through. We’re now delighted to have their support on a retained basis and feel they are the perfect partner to have alongside us an extension of our team.”

Mike Robb, Co-CEO at Boldspace, said:

“Zurich is one of the world’s most iconic insurance brands and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them on a retained basis. Tracy and her team have shown they are willing to embrace a bolder approach to corporate communications and storytelling, and we look forward to delivering more brilliant results for them.”
