HMD collaborates with Boldspace on the Better Phone Project
Global tech innovator HMD has appointed Boldspace to collaborate with on a project that that puts people first The Better Phone Project. The project follows growing concerns raised about the relationship between smartphone devices and social media apps and mental health, and seeks to enable people to find balance with their phones.

The collaboration will see the agency work across media relations, digital content development and a virtual event series, already leading to widespread media coverage in the UK and around the world on this important topic.

The first in a series of online discussions hosted by The Better Phone Project is taking place on 2 October 2024, launching with a panel discussion involving experts, including Dr. Jean Twenge and Luisa Fassi who have experience in researching the impact of social media apps and smartphones on mental health. They will discuss strategies for dealing with the challenges that come with a smartphone-led world, and will be guided by audience opinions, insights and questions to inform the conversation.
