Boldspace adds four to growing team

Nick Ford-Young

Brand building, communications and analytics agency Boldspace has made four additions to its team across strategy, client services, design, and PR.

Adam Larter joins as Strategy Director from Studio Black Tomato, where he was the senior strategy lead. His agency experience also includes Ogilvy, Amp London and Evidently, all in strategy roles where he has worked with a wide-range of brands including Barclays Wealth, Dove, WhatCar?, Investec Asset Management, and One&Only.

Jillian Sypkes joins as an Account Director in client services working across advertising, marketing and PR clients. She previously held client management roles at Cossette and Grey in Canada, managing accounts including Google, Walmart, the Royal Canadian Mint, and GlaxoSmithKline.

Also joining the agency full time are Martina Consoli, a Graphic Designer, and Marius Putnam as a Communications Executive. Martina joins from fast-growing nutrition brand, Protein World, and Marius from specialist PR agency BLUE Communications.

Mike Robb, Co-founder and Managing Director at Boldspace, said: “We are continuing to deliver an incredibly wide-range of work across the advertising, marketing and communications space, from TV ads to stakeholder relations campaigns. These hires reflect that variety and I am delighted to have been able to attract such top talent with big agency and big brand experience to Boldspace.”

The four hires come shortly after two additions in the agency’s PR team, with Lou Kelly joining from consumer agency Frank and Dee Fallon from Engine I MHP.

Commenting on his appointment, Adam Larter said: “Boldspace is a refreshing and innovative work environment. For a company only a year old they have already a strong point of view based on data, streamlined processes and great creative minds. I look forward to working with the challenger brands who understand this advantage.”

Commenting on her appointment, Jillian Sypkes added: “Boldspace has built a team of amazing talent across PR, creative, data, and advertising, and it clearly shows in the work that the agency has produced to date. The unification of data-driven insights with strong creative concepts is something that I’m really excited about bringing to life for our clients.”

The appointments build on a strong first year for the agency, which has now worked on more than 20 clients across a range of sectors including technology, healthcare, fintech, financial services, ecommerce, and energy.
