Wealth management firm Saltus appoints Boldspace to PR brief
Saltus, a private wealth management business that manages £1.75 billion of assets, has appointed brand building, communications and analytics agency Boldspace to drive its PR.
The appointment, made following a competitive pitch process, will see Boldspace raise awareness of the Saltus brand and build its reputation as experts in the market but with ‘heart and soul’.
Saltus provides investment management services and financial planning solutions to private clients and smaller institutions in the UK. It was founded in 2004 as an investment management firm and has gradually expanded its services, launching Saltus Financial Planning in 2015. The firm currently employs nearly 100 people.
The account will be led by Boldspace co-founder Mike Robb, reporting to Saltus Partner Michael Stimpson.
Michael Stimpson, Partner at Saltus, said: “As a firm we have a long track record of delivering outstanding services to our clients for nearly two decades, but we have not made a conscious effort to shout about what we do and demonstrate why we are different. So this is an incredibly exciting time as we seek to tell that story, positioning ourselves as experts but with a difference. The approach Boldspace has demonstrated to working with us on this journey was second-to-none, and I am excited about what we will achieve together in the coming years.
Mike Robb, Co-founder and Managing Director of Boldspace, said: “Saltus could quite rightly be labelled as the best-kept-secret in the industry today – a firm with an incredible track record and exciting proposition. This is undoubtedly a crowded space but I can’t remember many firms I’ve worked with in recent years with such a strong starting position from which to raise its profile. We’re excited to be working with Michael and the team to make this happen.”
Saltus will be onboarded to the agency’s technology platform, BoldLens, enabling it to monitor, track and react to developing trends around the business, across all communications channels, in real-time. BoldLens will deliver data-led reporting and insight around the PR programme the agency delivers and enable constant optimisation of campaigns.
The appointment follows a number of big client wins for Boldspace in recent months including the Post Office and QNTMPAY. The agency now has 10 clients in the financial services and fintech space alone, among nearly 30 others spanning technology, healthcare, ecommerce, travel, and green energy.
