DODONI, the leading Greek dairy brand which sells over 80 products in 52 countries, has appointed Boldspace to lead brand building and creative campaigns across seven markets following a competitive pitch between five European agencies.
The fast-growing brand building, communications and analytics agency will be responsible for ensuring DODONI’s extensive product range – which includes world famous Feta, fresh milk, yoghurt, hard cow’s cheeses, galotyri, butter, snacks and plant-based brand ‘Plant’d’ – is marketed to consumers with a strong unified brand purpose and distinctiveness, whilst adapted across UK, US, Australia, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Germany.
DODONI which had global sales of more than €150 million in 2021 has been on an upward trend for more than a half-century, staying true to its values of creating authentic and high-quality products. Its primary objective is to provide exceptional quality products with a unique flavour that stand out in both the local and international markets.
Boldspace will leverage its impressive integrated team which includes the recent appointments of Steph Bailey as Chief Communications Officer from FleishmanHillard and Aivory Gaw as Chief Brand Officer from WPP, as well as its proprietary analytics platform BoldLens to track DODONI’s paid, owned, earned and social media, overlaid with real-time commercials to deliver an objective, meaningful impact through its creative work.
The account will be led by Boldspace Co-CEO Nick Ford-Young and Strategy Director Adam Larter, reporting to DODONI CEO Michalis Pagiotakis.
Michalis Panagiotakis, CEO of DODONI, said: “Boldspace impressed us hugely in the pitch process, demonstrating their ability to work effectively across brand strategy, design, campaign execution and optimisation, with an equal emphasis on both data and creativity. We are delighted to begin working together to ensure the message of both DODONI’s rich heritage and progressive vision is delivered around the world with the same passion as goes into making each and every one of our products in Epirus.”
Nick Ford-Young, Co-CEO at Boldspace, said: “The opportunity to work with a brand as passionate and well-recognised as DODONI across global markets is incredible for Boldspace as we approach the end of our second year. We are delighted that our integrated agency model, underpinned by our analytics platform BoldLens, will have another wonderful opportunity to prove its effectiveness on a global stage.”
The agency now has more than 30 clients across a wide range of sectors including the Post Office, Fridays and Silverstone.
