Boldspace appoints Aivory Gaw as Chief Brand Officer

Boldspace has announced the appointment of former WPP and L’Oreal executive Aivory Gaw to the newly-created role of Chief Brand Officer.

Gaw will sit on the agency’s management team, leading all brand, creative and advertising activity and teams. She joins Boldspace from WPP, where she was Global Business Development Director, leading the group’s work with GSK. She was previously at AKQA, with a seven-year stint spanning senior roles across strategy, client services and business development leading work for clients including Nike, Danone, Kimberly Clark, and LVMH Group. Before going agency-side, Gaw created digital marketing and campaigns for Lancôme at L’Oreal in Paris.

The appointment marks the second senior hire for the 18-month-old agency in recent months following the appointment of Steph Bailey as Chief Communications Officer from Omnicom agency FleishmanHillard in November. Boldspace now has 25 staff and works with more than 30 clients including the Post Office, Silverstone and Mental Health First Aid England.
