ecoegg appoints Boldspace to integrated creative and communications brief
ecoegg, the environmentally friendly laundry solution, has appointed Boldspace to a wide-ranging creative brief covering TV, social, and PR.
The brief will see Boldspace working on an integrated creative campaign, providing strategy, creative, production and campaign execution optimising all activity through the firm’s data and analytics platform, BoldLensTM.
ecoegg offers a range of eco-friendly laundry products including a refillable and reusable Laundry Egg. Using mineral pellets inside an egg case, the ecoegg Laundry Egg helps to eliminate single-use plastic detergent and fabric conditioner bottles. Free from enzymes, chlorine bleach, phosphates, palm oil and petrochemicals, the ecoegg Laundry Egg is not only kinder to the environment than traditional detergent, but also kinder to your skin and pocket.
The account will be led by Boldspace co-founder Nick Ford-Young, reporting to Head of Brand and Marketing at ecoegg, Lisa Whalley-Smith.
Lisa Whalley-Smith, Head of Brand and Marketing, said: “We are seeing a huge shift in people’s behaviour towards more environmentally focused decisions that help protect the future of our planet. Whilst there is still much work to be done, we see ecoegg as playing an important role in this. To succeed in this crucial mission, we looked for an agency that can prove they can also make a real difference – both through their creativity and also campaign execution and optimisation. We were hugely impressed with Boldspace’s integrated approach and look forward to working together.”
Nick Ford-Young Co-founder at Boldspace, said: “ecoegg is a brand which has been incredibly easy for us to become very passionate about, very fast. They have an inbuilt goodness, kindness, quirkiness and mission-focused determination whilst helping transform and alleviate one of life’s most arduous tasks. This sounded like a creative agency’s dream to us, so we are absolutely delighted Lisa and her team have chosen to work with Boldspace.”
The appointment follows significant expansion at Boldspace in recent months, with the recent appointment of Steph Bailey as Chief Communications Officer from FleishmanHillard and Aivory Gaw as Chief Brand Officer from WPP. The agency now has more than 30 clients across a wide range of sectors including the Post Office and Fridays.
